You can try to fix the problem manually, logout when you are finished
ramfs$
The solution for me was to type the following at the ramfs$ prompt
ramfs$ exit
This is the answer I was looking for. Spent the last couple of hours banging my head against the wall with doing a fresh Arch Install... Thanks so much for posting this!
